A Bay Area native, Dr. Brody received both her doctorate of dental surgery and postgraduate training in periodontics at the University of California, San Francisco. While at UCSF, she also received a master’s degree in oral and craniofacial sciences with a research focus on treatment of peri-implant disease. Prior to UCSF, Dr. Brody received a bachelor’s degree in molecular biology at Scripps College in Claremont, CA.
Her research on the use of probiotics in treatment of periodontal disease, has been published in multiple periodontal journals, in addition to earning her a research award from the American Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Brody’s other honors include the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society and the American Academy of Periodontology Achievement Award.
